What data SchemaSync Professional and this website collect, what we do with it, and what we never see.

Who we are

NG&NR Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we") develops and sells SchemaSync Professional. We are based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, write to privacy@schemasync.in.

What the application collects

The application does not transmit your database content, schema structures, credentials, generated SQL or backups anywhere. It connects only to the database servers you configure, and to our licence service.

PurposeWhat is sentWhen
Licence activationYour licence key, and a machine fingerprint derived from hardware identifiersWhen you activate, and periodically to confirm the licence is valid
Update checkThe current version number onlyOn start-up, and can be switched off in settings
Nothing elseNo schema names, object definitions, credentials, query text or usage analyticsNever
Offline activation avoids the first of these entirely — see the activation documentation.

Diagnostic logs are written to your own machine, at %APPDATA%\SchemaSync\logs. They are never uploaded. If you choose to send one to support, you are sending it deliberately, and we treat it as support correspondence.

What this website collects

  • No cookies. This site sets none, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
  • No analytics or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixels, no session recording and no third-party embeds.
  • No fonts loaded from third parties. Typefaces are self-hosted, so no request reaches an external font service.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records request metadata such as IP address, timestamp and user agent, for security and abuse prevention. We do not combine these with anything else.

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests as our infrastructure provider and applies its own network-level security logging.

Information you give us

Contact and support enquiries
Your name, email address, optional company name and your message. Used to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. Retained for three years after the last message, then deleted.
Purchases and licences
Name, email address, billing details and licence records, as needed to issue and support your licence. Retained for as long as the licence is active, and afterwards for the period our tax and accounting obligations require.
Payments
Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our systems. We receive confirmation of payment and the billing information needed to issue an invoice.

What we never do

  • Sell, rent or trade personal data.
  • Send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
  • Use support correspondence for advertising or profiling.
  • Collect data from children — this is a professional tool not directed at anyone under 18.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for answering your enquiries and securing our systems, contract for issuing and supporting licences, and legal obligation for financial records. We do not rely on consent, because we do not run tracking that would require it.

You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Write to privacy@schemasync.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you equivalent rights, which you may exercise the same way.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Licence and correspondence records are held on access-controlled systems, and access is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Within the application, connection credentials you save are encrypted at rest using Windows DPAPI, tied to your Windows account.

International transfers

We are based in India and our infrastructure providers operate globally. Where personal data moves between countries, we rely on the appropriate safeguards for that transfer, including standard contractual clauses where they apply.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you by email. Older versions are available on request.
