Which should I buy — Individual / Freelancer or Professional?

The two are the same product; only the licence terms differ. Individual / Freelancer at $49 covers one person on one computer, and permits commercial and client work — it is the right choice if you work on a single machine. Professional at $99 covers one person across every machine they work from, adds offline activation for air-gapped environments, and puts your email in the priority queue. If you move between a desk machine and a laptop, buy Professional; a second Individual licence is not the intended way to cover a second device.

Is the licence a subscription?

No, both paid licences are bought once and are perpetual. The version you buy keeps working indefinitely. The purchase includes twelve months of updates and email support; after that you can optionally renew at a reduced rate to continue receiving updates, or simply keep using the version you have.

Question 3

What happens when my update period ends?

Accepted Answer

The application continues to work exactly as it did. You keep every version released during your update period. Renewing restores access to newer releases and support; not renewing costs you nothing beyond those newer releases.

Question 4

Can I move a licence to a different person, or a different computer?

Accepted Answer

Yes to both. A licence is assigned to a named user and can be reassigned when someone joins or leaves — email support and the previous activation is released. Moving an Individual / Freelancer licence to a replacement computer works the same way: release the old activation from the licence dialog, or ask us and we will release it. What is not permitted is two people using one licence at the same time, or one Individual licence running on two machines at once.

How does activation work without internet access?

Accepted Answer

Offline activation is available on Professional and Enterprise. The application produces a request code, you send it from any machine with a connection, and the licence file you receive activates the installation. No ongoing connectivity is required afterwards.

Do you offer invoicing and purchase orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on Enterprise. We can work with your procurement process, provide the tax documentation you need, and answer security review questionnaires. Contact sales with your requirements and seat count.

Is there a discount for teams?

Volume licensing is part of Enterprise, priced on seat count and support level. Tell us how many people need it and which environments you are covering, and we will quote against that.
